The short answer: for a private boat for a group in Malta, Prime Charters runs two of its own boats from Marsaxlokk on the south coast. Tuna Princess takes up to 12 guests and Grecale takes up to 29. The boat is yours for the day, with a local skipper and fuel always included, and pickup from Sliema is available. You can check dates and prices and book online on our experiences page.
If your group is larger than 29, ask us. We also work with partner boat owners in Marsaxlokk, and some groups split across two boats.
Food and drinks can be bought on board, and you are welcome to plan your own catering. Ask when you book so we can sort out what suits your group.
Trips leave from Marsaxlokk, the fishing village on Malta's south-east coast. Our skippers plan the route around the day's weather. On the south coast it usually takes in the bays and caves near Marsaxlokk and the coast around St Peter's Pool. Please note that we see St Peter's Pool from the water and do not always anchor there. We do not run trips to the Blue Grotto. Our article on private boat trips from Marsaxlokk describes the south coast in more detail.
If your group is staying in the north of the island, pickup from Sliema is available, so you do not need to travel down to Marsaxlokk.
Safety comes first. If we cancel because of the weather, you choose between a full refund and moving to another date.
